This page explains what data Pocketey collects when you visit the site or play one of the games, what we use it for, and what choices you have. Plain English first, formal language second.
Who we are
Pocketey is a small, independently operated game site reachable at https://pocketey.com. It is run by a solo developer rather than a company, and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages.
What we collect
The site itself uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a cookieless analytics product. It records aggregate page views, country-level geography, the referring site, and basic information about your browser such as the user agent string. It does not assign you a persistent identifier, does not build a behavior profile, and does not share your data with third-party advertising networks. We do not run any other first-party analytics tool by default.
Each individual game stores a small amount of progress data inside your
browser using localStorage. This typically includes high
scores, the level you reached, your sound preference, and similar
gameplay state. None of this leaves your device. You can clear it at any
time by clearing site data for https://pocketey.com in your browser settings.
Cookies and similar technologies
We group cookies and similar storage (localStorage, web beacons, pixel tags, device identifiers) into three categories so it is clear what each one does and who sets it.

Advertising
Some pages display advertising provided by Google AdSense. As an independent ad network, Google and its partners may set their own cookies, web beacons or device identifiers in order to serve, measure and report on ads, and — depending on the consent you give — to personalize ads on other sites you visit. Pocketey itself never receives personal data from these networks; we only see aggregate revenue and performance reports.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, we use Google's Funding Choices consent management platform to ask whether you accept personalized ads before any advertising cookies are set. You can change that choice at any time by clearing site cookies and reloading the page, or via the link in the consent dialog.
You can review and adjust the choices Google makes about your ads at adssettings.google.com. You can opt out of personalized advertising from many third-party networks at the Network Advertising Initiative and the Digital Advertising Alliance. California residents have additional rights, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which you can exercise via the links above.

The following independent companies process limited data when you use the site. Each link goes to that vendor's own privacy policy, which governs how they handle the data they receive.

Player feedback widget
Each game has an optional 👍 / 👎 / 🐛 feedback widget. If you choose to submit feedback, the rating and any free-text comment you write are sent through Cloudflare Functions to the site operator's email via Resend. We do not collect your name, email, or any other identifier unless you include it in the comment yourself.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please reach out via the contact page and we will delete it.
International transfers
Because the site is delivered through Cloudflare's global content delivery network, requests are routed to the data center closest to the visitor. Cloudflare and Google operate infrastructure across many countries; their respective privacy policies (linked above) cover how they handle traffic data in transit and at rest.
Your choices
You can disable JavaScript or use an ad blocker to opt out of advertising on the site. You can withdraw consent for personalized ads at any time by clearing cookies for https://pocketey.com and reloading; the Funding Choices dialog will appear again. You can clear local game progress at any time via your browser. You can request information about data we hold by emailing the address on the contact page; because we operate at a small scale, we typically have very little data attached to any one visitor.
Changes to this policy
When we change anything material on this page, we will update the date at the top of the document and, where the change affects how data is collected, post a short notice on the home page. Continued use of the site after such a change means you accept the updated policy.
